Tristan Knotts leads GRIDSTROM's product development, technology strategy, systems architecture and the deployment of intelligent energy infrastructure. He holds a BS in Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics from Southern Methodist University's Lyle School of Engineering.

His experience spans product growth at SpaceX Starlink and consulting at Deloitte, where he helped co-found the firm's Commercial Space Practice and advised clients on emerging technologies across communications, energy, data infrastructure and commercial space. That work has centered on AI and software, telecommunications and satellite communications, cloud and data infrastructure, emerging-technology evaluation and commercialization.

At GRIDSTROM, he applies that product, software and infrastructure background to intelligent energy systems — translating technology capability into deployable EV charging, battery storage and microgrid infrastructure, and into products and platforms that make distributed energy assets measurable and manageable.

Tristan was recognized as SMU Lyle's Outstanding Senior Male and named a 2024 Payload Pioneer (Space Industry 30 Under 30) for his contributions to the commercial space sector.

Trevor Knotts leads GRIDSTROM’s quantitative analytics, financial modeling, and AI-enabled decision support. His work combines statistics, probability, regression, time-series analysis, and linear algebra with data science, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and Python software development across Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure secure cloud-based business systems.

His academic background includes a B.S. from Southern Methodist University’s Lyle School of Engineering, where he studied statistics and computer science, and a semester at the University of California, Berkeley, where he studied software engineering and computer security. He has also completed master’s-level coursework in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence and intends to pursue doctoral study in statistics, artificial intelligence, and computational decision science.

At GRIDSTROM, Trevor applies quantitative methods to infrastructure economics, technology evaluation, project performance, and investment decision support. He develops forecasting, optimization, and financial modeling tools that examine how energy-project economics, operating assumptions, and risk-return characteristics evolve throughout an asset’s life.

He also develops AI-enabled analytics and software for distributed energy infrastructure, helping ensure that decisions involving EV charging, battery energy storage, and microgrid systems are grounded in rigorous data and evidence rather than assumptions.

Kristen Davison is a systems, technology and commercial leader whose career connects enterprise technology, manufacturing and industrial systems, business intelligence, and energy infrastructure. Her work spans systems and solutions architecture, enterprise architecture, software engineering, manufacturing and business systems, MRP/ERP and supply-chain and operations systems, and cloud and distributed technologies.

Her experience includes designing and manufacturing physical products, managing contract-manufacturing relationships, and developing manufacturing-process and industrial automation systems — experience that informs GRIDSTROM's work as both a producer of energy products and a builder of enterprise software.

Across decades of complex commercial, industrial, financial, energy and government programs, she has focused on the same underlying problem GRIDSTROM addresses today: integrating engineered systems, operational data and business objectives into a plan an organization can actually execute. That work included business intelligence and data-driven decision support, technology strategy and commercialization, and business development and strategic partnerships.

Her systems-engineering work has included engagements with organizations such as Shell, Chevron, Siemens, Strike USA, IBM, Microsoft, Hitachi, Deutsche Telekom/T-Mobile, Bank of America and Deutsche Bank, along with other global enterprises.

As Managing Director of GRIDSTROM Energy Solutions, Kristen leads company strategy, systems architecture, product and manufacturing direction, project development and strategic partnerships across EV charging infrastructure, battery energy storage systems, microgrids and distributed energy infrastructure — including AI-enabled energy intelligence and the financial and commercial evaluation of infrastructure opportunities.

She also serves as an Expert, Judge and Mentor with MassChallenge, working with founders and investors on go-to-market strategy, revenue models and scalable operations.
