Questions the Assessment Helps Answer
The decisions executives actually face
- What energy-infrastructure opportunities are most relevant to this property?
- Can the existing electrical infrastructure support the project?
- What could the project cost?
- What financial benefits may be available?
- Which assumptions have the greatest effect on ROI?
- What utility, permitting, engineering, and site constraints should be investigated?
- Which grants, incentives, rebates, or financing programs may apply?
- Should the project proceed now, be staged, or wait for more information?
- What is the recommended next step?

Trust and Qualifications
Integrated, vendor-neutral energy-infrastructure strategy
GRIDSTROM provides integrated energy-infrastructure strategy. We are not tied to a single technology, manufacturer, installer, or financing source, so the analysis follows the property and the business objective rather than a product line.
Where a project moves forward, GRIDSTROM works with qualified engineering, construction, technology, financial, and implementation partners as appropriate. Licensed work is performed by the appropriately licensed party.
FAQ
Common questions
- Is this an engineering study?
- No. An assessment is preliminary decision support. It does not replace licensed engineering design, utility studies, or permitting review, though it identifies where those steps are needed.
- Is the assessment free?
- Assessments are a paid advisory service, scoped to the property or project. Pilot pricing may be available for qualified early projects. Scope and fee are confirmed in writing before work begins.
- What information should I provide?
- Whatever you have today: property details, utility bills, site plans, load information, existing proposals, and your business objective. Missing information is documented as an information gap.
- Can GRIDSTROM review more than one property?
- Yes. Multi-property evaluations are handled through a portfolio and strategic assessment with site prioritization and scenario comparison.
- Can GRIDSTROM help identify funding?
- We scan for grants, incentives, rebates, and financing structures that may apply. Eligibility is determined by the awarding or financing party, not by GRIDSTROM.
- What happens after the assessment?
- You receive an executive report and a findings discussion with a recommended next-stage plan. You decide whether to proceed, stage the project, or gather more information.
- Will GRIDSTROM also help with project development or implementation?
- Where appropriate, GRIDSTROM can continue as strategic and coordination partner, working with qualified engineering, construction, technology, and financial partners under a separate agreement.
- How is confidential information handled?
- Submitted information is treated as confidential and is shared only as reasonably necessary to evaluate the opportunity with qualified partners. Confidentiality terms can be put in place before detailed information is exchanged.
GRIDSTROM Infrastructure Opportunity Assessments provide preliminary strategic, financial, technical, and funding-related decision support based on the scope agreed with the client and the information available. They do not replace licensed engineering, utility confirmation, permitting, legal, tax, accounting, financing, construction, environmental, or investment advice. Actual project outcomes depend on site conditions, utility requirements, tariffs, technology selection, financing, incentives, permitting, market conditions, construction, and operations.
